My favorite thing in the world is to see the changes in peoples lives as I help them realize true health and healing.  To see their face light up again, to see their deep appreciation for the changes I have helped instill within them.  I believe in a true Holistic approach to healing; working with the physical body through the nervous system and through nutritive healing, as well as relieving the stresses, tension and emotional baggage we tend to carry around.  The body can and will heal when given the right help.

I feel fortunate and blessed to be able to work in this beautiful profession.  I love that I have the opportunity to offer a service that can bring healing and peace to people;  easing someone's pain brings tremendous joy to me.     Within a session I draw from many modalities such as Swedish, N.M.T., Sports Massage, Craniosacral, Shiatsu, and Myofascial Release.   I utilize techniques from each of these modalities in order to customize the session to fit your individual needs.  I have certificates of completion in Medical Massage for both the upper and lower extremities, Intro to Myofascial Wellness, Myofascial release for the pelvis and I am certified in level 1 Craniosacral Therapy.   Whether you just need to relax and de-stress or you are in need of a more medically oriented massage, I look forward to the opportunity to be able to work with you.  May your life be filled with health and happiness.

In 2004 she studied under William Rand, Founder of the International Center for Reiki Training and creator of Karuna Reiki(r) in Southfield, MI. "I continue to pursue further education to evolve and grow as a person and healing facilitator. I feel it is an honor to offer Reiki services. Thai yoga bodywork is a unique therapeutic form of yoga therapy that utilizes assisted yoga stretching, guided breathing, acupressure points, rhythmic massage, and meditation. Thai yoga bodywork improves circulation, relieves painful and stiff muscles and joints, balances and frees the flow of energy in the entire system, facilities flexibility, relaxation, and a feeling of well-being creating a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Anatomy has fascinated me since I studied life sciences at Cornell University.  Since then, I have been certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  NASM strongly emphasizes core training and functional training.  In 2000 I certified for Pilates through NYC's Kane School which has a strong emphasis on the details of biological mechanics of movement.  Additionally I have further studied human anatomy and physiology, physics and examined physical therapies.  I've formerly trained at David Barton Gym in Manhattan- before opening my own business in NYC.  Currently my business is located in the Capital District and upper Hudson Vally.
